Product Overview:DTH drill bits can be used in the following applications:* Mining- drill and blast holes in open pit mining, where the drill operator will drill several holes, then fill with explosives and detonate to lift rock allowing access to ore body* RC- mineral exploration and pit grade control (needs specialized reversed circulation hammers)* RAB - rotary air blast - mineral exploration using a conventional DTH hammer* GW - geothermal bore holes and water wells* Oil and Gas - Deep well bore holes: air hammers can be used as long as cutting uplift and borehole stability are ensured. For deeper wells, new DTH technologies including water hammer and mud hammer can be used to improve drilling rates in hard rocks.* Construction industry - Piling, footings, soil nailing

Bit face shape selection:1. Drop Center BitFor high penetration rates in soft to medium hard and corrosive rock formations. Low to medium air pressures. Maximum hole deviation control.2. Concave FaceThe all-round application bit face specifically for medium hard and homo generous rock formations. Good hole deviation control and good flushing capacity.3. Convex FaceFor high penetration rates in soft to medium-hard with low to medium air pressures. It is the most resistance to steel wash, and may reduce the load and wear on the gauge buttons, but poor hole deviation control.4. Double Gauge FaceThis kind of face shape is suitable for fast penetration rates in medium to hard rock formations. Designed for high air pressures and good resistance to steel wash step gauge bit.5. Flat Face BitThis kind of face shape is suitable for hard to very hard and abrasive rock formations in applications with high air pressures. Good penetration rates an resistance to steel wash.
